Medical Financial was established in 2007 by Directors Sean O’Kane and Matt Connor (Medical Tax & Accounting).  The founders saw the opportunity to provide holistic and quality financial planning for medical professionals, combining expert planning, tax and accounting services with the highest integrity standards. In 2011, Neal Durling joined Medical Financial as a Director, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and more than 30 years of experience in financial services in Australia and overseas.

Each Director backs their technical expertise with an ongoing commitment to providing quality advice that’s right for every individual and business. 

In 2021, ASTUTEMED® was founded from the successful business merger of Medical Tax & Accounting founded by Matt Connor in 2007 and Astute Advisory founded by Sandeep Singh in 2016. Together the Directors bring a wealth of knowledge to their clients providing in-depth knowledge and experience in tax, business services, valuations and strategic planning with the highest integrity standards.
